The African beauty and fashion community will converge in Norwich, England, for the sixth edition of the Africa Beauty Summit & Awards on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at The Maids Head Hotel. Under the theme “Beyond Boundaries,” this year’s gathering will explore the growing global influence of African beauty, fashion, wellness, and lifestyle businesses.

Organised by Seddy Initiative CIC, the summit is designed as more than a celebration of African beauty—it is a platform for visibility, entrepreneurship, networking, and international opportunity. The programme will bring together beauty professionals, entrepreneurs, creatives, advocates, and industry leaders from Africa and the diaspora, with discussions examining how African-owned businesses can expand beyond local markets and compete on a global scale.

A key highlight will be an exhibition giving emerging African brands the opportunity to present their products and connect with potential customers, collaborators, and industry partners. The summit will also spotlight sectors shaping the continent’s evolving beauty ecosystem, including cosmetics, haircare, aesthetics, wellness, photography, and beauty technology.

British-Nigerian singer Seyi Shay is set to deliver the keynote address, alongside a line-up of professionals and entrepreneurs including Bose Alao Omotoyossi, Sarah Capewell-Rive, Experience Kuberaza, Josephine Owuye, Taylor Smith, and Franklin Kalu.

At its heart, the Africa Beauty Summit reflects a wider shift in the global beauty industry—one in which African talent, brands, and cultural perspectives are increasingly demanding visibility on the international stage. By creating a space where creativity meets enterprise and heritage meets innovation, the summit continues to champion the possibilities of African beauty beyond geographical boundaries.

For its sixth edition, Norwich becomes a meeting point for a vibrant African beauty ecosystem—one determined not only to celebrate its achievements but to shape what comes next.
