His Imperial Majesty Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, has appointed Prince Kamari Ademiluyi as International Economic Advisor to the Royal Family and the Kingdom of Ile-Ife.

The appointment strengthens the Kingdom’s global partnerships and supports its growing focus on innovation, investment, youth empowerment and the advancement of the Yoruba nation.

Prince Kamari’s elevation comes after his leading role in the UK Africa Trade Expo (UKATE) 2025, where he helped convene investors, governments and innovators from Africa, the UK, Europe and Asia.

The new role supports His Majesty’s vision to:

  • Attract global investment into Nigeria and Ile-Ife
  • Drive development in technology, agriculture, manufacturing, green energy and space innovation
  • Expand opportunities for women and young people
  • Promote Yoruba culture and diplomacy on the world stage
  • Position Ile-Ife as a hub for international cooperation and emerging industries

“By the authority of the Throne of Oduduwa and in line with our continuous commitment to global partnerships, economic development, and the advancement of the Yoruba people, His Imperial Majesty Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, hereby appoints Prince Kamari Ademiluyi as International Economic Advisor to the Royal Family and the Kingdom of Ile-Ife.”

Prince Kamari delivered his first official speech in this role at the G20 Space Economy Leaders Meeting (SELM), hosted by the GEC Space Programme.


The 2025 theme was: “Space as a Catalyst for Inclusive Global Economic Development.”

Speaking to policymakers, space agency leaders, CEOs and G20 delegates, Prince Kamari called for

:

  • Africa’s full participation in the global space economy
  • Greater representation of Africans in global space investment and policy
  • Support for African nations developing space strategies
  • Education pathways for African youth in robotics, AI, aerospace and satellite technology

He urged world leaders: “Africa must not be left behind in the Space Revolution. Africa must stand beside the world, not behind it.”
