Fashion Fete: A Celebration of Fashion, Sustainability, and Unity
Since its inception in 2019, Fashion Fete has served as a collective movement, incorporating two distinct sub-movements – the Dandy Gentlemen movement for men and the Vogue Ladies movement for women. These sub-movements share a common aim; to unite and empower individuals through fashion, with the goal of nurturing the “Total Man through Fashion” and the “Total Woman through Fashion.”

Through this unified platform, Fashion Fete seeks to harness the transformative power of fashion to address the challenges impacting the contemporary generation, emphasizing the overarching mission of “Building the Total Person Through Fashion.”
The forthcoming Fashion Fete event will pivot towards the global goals set by the United Nations in the form of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for 2030. Here, the focus will not only dwell on advocating sustainable fashion but also spotlighting the critical targets of the SDGs.
Set to take place on the 10th of February, the event will feature a remarkable array of activities, including captivating fashion runways, live music, spoken word performances, opportunities for networking, engaging exhibitions, and enriching personal development programs.
Notably, this grand affair will be graced by the presence of esteemed fashion luminaries and prominent figures, with the distinguished Zodwa Mkandla holding the honorary position of guest of honor. The event will unfold at the esteemed Boat House in Highlands, commencing from 10 a.m. till 3 p.m.
This elegant spectacle is masterminded by MW Studios, a renowned local creative consultancy company, dedicated to curating a captivating and enriching experience that seamlessly integrates the worlds of fashion and sustainability. The event organizers aim to recognize the sartorial prowess of attendees, with the best-dressed participant standing to win a sponsored self-care package from the esteemed local Beauty Spa, Surreal Spa.
The event’s dress code is inspired by the vibrant SDG colors, allowing attendees to express their support for any of the 17 goals through their choice of attire.
Tickets for this exceptional gathering are available in three tiers: standard tickets priced at $10, VIP tickets at $20, and VVIP tickets at $50, offering varying levels of access to what promises to be an unforgettable celebration of fashion, sustainability, and unity.
