The 2019 Screen Actors Guild Awards was held at the Shrine Auditorium on January 27 in Los Angeles.

The event was attended by several top Hollywood stars including the cast of the Marvel flick – Black Panther which won the top film award of the night. Lead actresses Lupita Nyong’o and Danai Gurira also won in the “best-dressed category” wearing statement pieces that could not be ignored.

Danai looked extremely gorgeous in a white Ralph and Russo dress with frothy trimmed feathers. Never one to go wrong on the red carpet, the star made a strong statement with her natural hair in a neat cut while keeping her makeup simple and flawless.

Lupita has really mastered the art of dominating red-carpet fashion and her SAG Awards appearance was no different. She wore a stunning but hard-to-pull-off Vera Wang constructed suit jacket paired with a see-through full-length skirt. The whole look was a total show-stopper, but her vibrant makeup and braided hair stood out the most.
