American fashion designer, Dj, and music producer popularly known as Virgil Abloh, is the artistic director of Louis Vuitton’s men’s wear collection since March 2018 and has represented Ghana in his recent collection.

He also serves as the chief executive of off–white, a fashion house he founded in 2013.

On Thursday the 17th of January, Abloh came into focus as he debuted his second runway collection for Louis Vuitton’s Fall-Winter 2019 Menswear Fashion Show at Jardin Des Tuileries in Paris, France.

Highlights from the show were epic, and a colourful tribute to Michael Jackson as the music and clothes all included colorful references to the beloved pop icon.

The strong emphasis on Ghana in the outfits caught our attention and obviously it is an influence of the well-known Virgil Abloh.

Below are some of the Ghanaian-infused looks from Abloh’s Fall 2019 collection for Louis Vuitton.
