Fashion icon Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD) will hold this year’s edition of his Rhythms On Da Runway event on April 1st, at the State Banquet Hall, Osu, themed “The Ghana @60 Pan – African celebration Of African Fashion”.

Patrons will experience unimaginable designs from Ghana including Ophelia Crossland, Velma’s Accessories, Abrantie the Gentleman, Bon Collections, Nineteen57 by KOD, South Africa’s Palse Sa and New York-based, Kenyan designer Narok.

The good music lovers won’t be left out, as the event will be graced by Ghana’s finest musicians; Sarkodie, Manifest, Efya, MzVee, Cina Soul and other great musicians from Zimbabwe and Nigeria will be there as well.
Praye and Wutah will be coming back together to perform for the first time after 7 years of doing Solo projects.

Rhythms On Da Runway 2017, will have a fair at 2 pm for other designers to exhibit their stuffs whilst the main event is scheduled to kick off at 7 pm with a red carpet. It’s also the official platform to outdoor the latest collection of KOD’s Nineteen57 Clothing.

Celebrity models like Shatta Wale, Nana Ama McBrown Agyeman, Wanluv the Kublor, Akumaa Mama Zimbi, Michelle Attoh and a whole lots of other amazing celebrities to showcase works of these fabulous designers.

It is going to be one of Ghana’s “biggest nights of African fashion and music,” according to organisers.

Tickets to the event are going for GHS300 – single and GHS 450 – Double can be acquired from Vida Caffe – East Legon and Stanbic Heights, Airport Shell, Star Fm and Live Fm.
