Africa Fashion Week London 2026 is delighted to welcome global creative force, Florence Otedola aka Cuppy, for an unforgettable two-day collaboration that blends culture, mentorship, music, and next-generation inspiration.

Known worldwide as a dynamic DJ, recording artist and philanthropist, Cuppy has performed on international stages including Glastonbury, Cannes and major global events, while using her platform to champion education and youth empowerment through the Cuppy Foundation.

DJ Workshop – Monday 17 August

Cuppy will join AFWL’s aspiring DJ programme, mentoring participants across multiple groups, offering direct advice, encouragement and industry insight to emerging talent.

Live Performance – Saturday 22 August

Ahead of the iconic AFWL 7pm Catwalk Show, Cuppy will deliver a high-energy live set featuring dancers, drums and pure AFWL electricity before taking her place on the FROW.

This is more than a guest appearance. It is a meeting of fashion, music and purpose.

Real Impact for Young People

Cuppy’s involvement goes far beyond appearance. By mentoring young DJs, she offers direct access to someone who has built a global career through talent, discipline and vision. By wearing emerging designers on stage and on the runway, she gives young creatives priceless visibility, credibility and a powerful stamp of confidence. Her presence creates aspiration, opportunity and proof that African talent belongs on the world stage.

Africa has always been a source of creativity, rhythm and brilliance. To join Africa Fashion Week London is about celebrating our talent loudly, beautifully and globally. I’m excited to mentor the next DJ generation (I hope we have a LOT of budding DJ girls!), perform on the catwalk, and be part of a movement that keeps pushing culture forward. I want to make an impact, and I hope I will do that at AFWL2026.
