AFWN 2025: Designer Spotlight, Creative Feature & Cultural Festival Moments
As the excitement builds toward Africa Fashion Week Nigeria 2025, we’re spotlighting designers, creatives, and experiences shaping this year’s festival. In this edition, we travel to Ghana for a designer known for vibrant storytelling through fashion
Designer Spotlight: Naile (Ghana)
Based in Accra, Naile stands at the intersection of Ghanaian heritage and modern style. The brand is known for its bold yet effortless interpretation of contemporary African fashion.
From the celebrated Aven Collection, loved for its striking colours and intricate Batik detailing, to its easy, ready-to-wear looks, Naile embodies elegance, cultural pride, and everyday sophistication. Every piece reflects a sense of modern comfort while staying deeply connected to Ghanaian roots.
Their showcase at AFWN 2025 will bring colour, texture, and the warmth of Accra’s design culture to the Lagos runway.

Creative Feature: Omoboyejo Oyewusi
Also joining AFWN this year is Oyewusi Omoboyejo, a Lagos-based creative popularly known as “the stylish photographer.”
Boye wears many hats with ease: photographer, creative director, content creator, entrepreneur, speaker, and storyteller.
Beyond photography, he’s the host of the “Bro, Are You Okay?” podcast, a groundbreaking platform giving men in the creative industry space to speak openly about mental health. He also produces his own show, Captured.
From documenting icons like Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Ini Edo, Mercy Eke, and more, to shaping visual trends through his YouTube channel and style content, Boye continues to push the boundaries of authenticity, and creativity
This December, his presence on the AFWN runway celebrates the new wave of creatives bridging fashion, storytelling, and social impact.

Experience Highlight: Cultural Performance
AFWN 2025 is more than a fashion event, it’s a celebration of African identity. One of the standout experiences to look forward to this December is our lineup of Cultural Performances.
Guests will be immersed in dance, music, movement, and artistic expressions from across the continent. From traditional rhythms, drums, masquerades to African performance art, this segment brings the festival to life with energy, emotion, and cultural richness.
