As the countdown to Africa Fashion Week Nigeria 2025 continues, we’re shining a light on the brilliant creatives and experiences that make this edition truly special. We are excited to introduce a designer whose work embodies African luxury:

EAA by Elizabeth Akinlabi (Nigeria)

Representing the poise, depth, and refinement of contemporary African fashion, EAA by Elizabeth Abidemi Akinlabi stands as a celebration of heritage elevated with modern sophistication.

With over a decade of craftsmanship and storytelling, EAA creates luxury pieces shaped by culture and a distinctly African sense of elegance. Guided by the ethos, “Inspired by Africa, Created by Africans, Loved Globally,” the Lagos-based brand embraces the richness of African identity while positioning itself firmly within today’s luxury fashion landscape.

Runway Feature: Pearl

Joining our runway this year is Pearl — an influencer, host, speaker, and digital creative whose impact extends beyond content into community building.

Pearl has carved a unique space with lifestyle storytelling, personal development conversations, and her signature “rebrand classes,” where she inspires her audience to grow into their best selves. She is also the founder of Picnic with Pearl, a picnic-style trade fair hosted in the University of Lagos that brings together over 1,000 attendees and vendors.

 Her presence on the AFWN runway is a celebration of young African women shaping culture with both influence and intention.

AFWN 2025 is designed to be immersive from the moment you step in, and one experience to look forward to this December is our Photo Booth and Content Corners, powered by Sterling.

These curated spaces come alive with cinematic lighting, creative sets, and aesthetic backdrops, all designed to help you capture your best moments at the festival.
