As we count down to Africa Fashion Week Nigeria 2025, we continue to spotlight the remarkable creatives, storytellers, and cultural voices shaping this year’s edition.

Designer Spotlight: Insyd/Owt Creatives (Lesotho)

From the Kingdom of Lesotho comes Insyd/Owt Creatives, a sustainable fashion house founded by sibling duo Bohloeki and Boikokobetso Sibolla. Their work is a thoughtful blend of heritage and innovation, each piece carrying the spirit of Basotho culture and earth-centered craftsmanship.

Insyd/Owt is known for its inventive use of deadstock denim, hand-crafted details, and production techniques designed to minimize waste. Their signature inspiration comes from litema, a centuries-old Basotho art form where women engrave meaningful motifs into mud-plastered walls. The brand reimagines this practice through hand block printing, creating garments that feel both ancestral and contemporary.

Their AFWN 2025 showcase invites audiences to witness how tradition and sustainability can meet in a way that is distinctly artistic and Basotho.

Runway Personality: Ryonne Becky Razaq (dearryonne)

Walking the runway this year is Ryonne Becky Razaq, a Lagos-based fashion and lifestyle creator with a flair for visual storytelling.
