Priscilla Ojo’s wedding was more than a union of two hearts- it was a celebration of African heritage, bold fashion, and the creative genius of top designers. From her first pre-wedding look on April 5, 2025, to the grand traditional and white wedding ceremonies, Priscilla’s style journey captured the imagination of fans and fashion lovers across the continent.

April 5: Regal Gold and Geometric Elegance
Priscilla’s wedding journey began with a striking pre-wedding look that blended tradition with contemporary artistry. She wore a custom gold aso-oke gown featuring a fitted bodice with a sculpted sweetheart neckline and bold, padded shoulders. The intricate geometric embroidery in blue, green, and yellow paid homage to the Tanzanian flag, symbolizing the union of her Nigerian heritage and her fiancé Juma Jux’s Tanzanian roots. The sleek skirt was adorned with cascading gold embellishments, while her champagne-toned gele and diamond jewelry added regal poise and sparkle.
Juma Jux complemented her in a majestic agbada ensemble with matching geometric embroidery
and traditional coral beads, holding a gold staff that echoed the couple’s shared heritage and royal status.

April 17, 2025: Priscilla Ojo’s Regal Royal Purple Traditional Wedding Look by Couture by Tabik
Priscilla Ojo’s first traditional wedding outfit was a stunning celebration of Yoruba heritage, elegance, and modern bridal couture. This royal purple ensemble, designed by Couture by Tabik and styled by Emmanuel Goodnews, instantly captivated fans and fashion enthusiasts across social media.
The Outfit
Priscilla wore a richly embroidered royal purple aso-oke fabric fashioned into a fitted blouse and mermaid-style skirt. The skirt’s hem was adorned with dramatic layered ruffles in alternating shades of royal purple and deep fuchsia, creating a petal-like effect that added volume and movement to the silhouette. The blouse featured intricate silver embroidery and beadwork, enhancing the look’s regal aura.
Her gele was expertly tied in a towering, sculptural style in matching royal purple, perfectly framing her radiant face and completing the traditional Yoruba bridal aesthetic. The matching ipele (wrapper) added authenticity and depth to the ensemble.
Juma Jux’s Complementary Look
Juma Jux wore a royal purple agbada crafted from the same aso-oke fabric, richly embroidered with orange and gold motifs. His royal blue fila cap accented with orange embroidery and traditional coral beads added a vibrant contrast. He carried a purple staff topped with a carved map of Africa, symbolizing their pan-African love and cultural unity.
Styling and Accessories
Emmanuel Goodnews styled the entire look, with jewelry from Boz Jewellery adding refined sparkle without overshadowing the detailed craftsmanship. The colour palette and embellishments beautifully blended Yoruba tradition with contemporary bridal fashion, making Priscilla’s first traditional wedding look a true style statement.
This look set an elegant, regal tone for the day’s celebrations and was widely praised for its craftsmanship, cultural symbolism, and flawless execution.
