Lagos Fashion Week 2023 has taken center stage as the much-anticipated in-person runway shows commenced on October 26th.

Fashion aficionados and key players in the industry united to celebrate the profound legacy of craftsmanship, which serves as the bedrock of African fashion. This was exemplified as both established and emerging designers unveiled their impeccable collections.

AJABENG is a Ghanaian unisex brand birthed at the intersection of minimalism and contemporary African art and culture. The brand combines these two seemingly tangential elements to create an aesthetic that captures both the purity of minimalism and the vibrancy of African culture.

AJABENG’s SS24 collection titled “Pride of GHANA” was seen on day 3 of the Lagos Fashion Week.

The “Pride of GHANA” collection endeavors to honor the essence of the Highlife soundtrack that infuses everyday life, rekindling aspects of the Ghanaian spirit that colonial administrations had never dared to awaken. The collection features elevated minimalist uniform pieces with a palette of soft colors.
