Seun Kuti, the Nigerian musician and son of Afrobeats icon Fela Kuti, made a notable appearance on the runway at the Casablanca ‘Day of Victory’ fashion show during Day 7 of Paris Fashion Week.

He confidently strutted in a piece called “Stuntman on Set” that featured a white and green jumpsuit adorned with a flag-inspired pattern with shades of blue and green. The singer was modelling the contemporary French brand Casablanca on its ‘Day of Victory’ Printemps-Été 2024 runway show.

Kuti isn’t the only Nigerian celebrity to make a notable appearance on a high-profile runway. In 2018, Wizkid strutted down the catwalk at the Dolce & Gabbana show during Milan Men’s Fashion Week. His ensemble featured intricate gold appliqué and embellishments, complemented by a studded balaclava.

In 2021, the renowned Afrobeats artist David Adeleke, also known as Davido, solidified his role as a prominent ambassador and representative for the Puma brand. He graced the catwalk in support of the sportswear company’s “Futrograde” show.
