The Africa Fashion Week London catwalk has always been about more than clothes. It is where stories are told, cultures are celebrated, and designers transform ideas into moments that stay with you long after the lights go down.

This August, four distinctive brands arrive with four very different visions that span healing luxury, contemporary womenswear, European fusion and precision menswear. Rooted in craftsmanship and driven by identity, each collection carries its own language, energy, and point of view.

Expect impeccable tailoring. Expect colour and confidence. Expect pieces that move with purpose and designs that speak without saying a word.

These are four designers bringing their worlds to London’s stage, and they’re ready to leave their mark.

RESANEA is Africa’s first healing luxury fashion house, founded and headquartered in Johannesburg, South Africa in 2026.

Built on a singular belief — that Africa has always known how to heal through material and textile — RESANÈA brings that ancient wisdom to the global luxury fashion market for the first time. Every garment is made from carefully selected healing fabrics with scientifically documented benefits to the body during wear. Not wellness. Not athleisure. Healing luxury — for the woman who has already arrived.

RESANÈA debuts at Africa Fashion Week London 2026 with two collections:

PRESENCE — Drop 01. English: life force. Grade 6A mulberry silk. The arrival.

KIMYA — Drop 02. Lingala/Swahili: divine stillness. Premium linen. The transcendence.

Every piece in the collection is named in an African language — Sesotho, Pedi, Swahili, Setswana, Xhosa, Hausa, Afrikaans and Zulu — carrying the voices of the continent onto one of the world’s most prestigious fashion platforms.

African Soul. Global Healing.

IFFIZI returns to London for the 16th edition of AFWL with AFROSAMBA — a vibrant, rhythm-filled celebration of Afro-Brazilian culture, Yoruba heritage, and contemporary femininity. Founded by Sandra Alonge in 2016, the Belgian-Nigerian label marks its 10th anniversary this year, cementing a decade of bold design, cultural fusion, and unapologetic self-expression.

Known for blending sleek European styling with refined African tailoring, IFFIZI creates elevated contemporary fashion for the modern professional woman — powerful looks that move effortlessly from boardroom confidence to after-dark glamour. At the heart of the brand is its signature philosophy, “Na shakara” — a fearless embrace of confidence, presence, and personal style.

The new AFROSAMBA collection channels the spirit of Salvador da Bahia through movement, colour, texture, and energy — reinterpreting Yoruba cultural influence through a modern Afrocentric lens. Expect fluid silhouettes, striking detailing, and a runway charged with femininity, rhythm, and bold cultural storytelling.

The showcase will also feature handcrafted accessories by Biam Dhifá, whose expressive crochet and embroidered pieces transform discarded textiles into wearable art. Through thread, texture, and the recurring symbol of the embroidered heart, the collaboration brings together sustainability, memory, resilience, and beauty in a powerful celebration of reinvention and identity.
