Accra witnessed one of its biggest nightlife experiences of the year as GoldBlock Party hosted the Accra edition of Purple at the The Underbridge Annex Dome, delivering a powerful celebration of Afro House, Amapiano and Afrotech culture.

The highly anticipated event attracted music lovers, creatives, influencers and party enthusiasts from across the city, all gathering for a night filled with nonstop energy, immersive sounds and premium entertainment. South African music powerhouse DJ Maphorisa headlined the rave with an explosive set that sent the crowd into a frenzy, performing some of the biggest Amapiano and Afro electronic records of the moment.

The night also featured standout performances and DJ sets from Nigerian artist Shoday, EeQue, Jnr SA, Jazzwrld x Thukuthela, DJ Millzy, Que Soundz, Afrolektra, DJ Williamo and Uncool MC, all of whom contributed to the electric atmosphere throughout the night.

Hosting duties were handled by some of Ghana’s finest hype personalities and MCs including Kojo Manuel, Accra Mayor, Michael Nicols and Tim Jeezy, who kept the crowd fully engaged from start to finish.
