Top 25 Ghana Fashion Industry Power List (Second Edition) Unveils the Faces Shaping the Future of Fashion

The second edition of the Top 25 Ghana Fashion Industry Power List has officially been unveiled, celebrating the individuals and collectives shaping the present and future of Ghana’s fashion ecosystem. Building on the success of its inaugural release, this year’s edition expands the narrative of influence recognising not only visibility, but the depth of impact across creativity, business, culture and innovation.
Fashion in Ghana has long served as a powerful expression of identity and heritage. Today, it continues to evolve into a dynamic global force, driven by a new generation of leaders redefining the industry’s scope. The 2025 Power List reflects this shift, spotlighting a diverse mix of designers, entrepreneurs, media personalities, models, and cultural pioneers whose work continues to move the industry forward in meaningful ways.

Among this year’s honourees are visionary designers Boye Doe and Velma Accesories, media personality and style influencer Serwaa Amihere, Fashion & Textile and communications expert Makeba Boateng, model Vica Michaels, and the boundary-pushing collective Free The Youth. Each of these names represents a unique dimension of influence, whether through storytelling, brand building, cultural preservation, or global visibility.
The list also underscores the expanding definition of power within fashion. Beyond the runway, influence now lives in digital platforms, education, sustainability, policy, and cross-industry collaboration. This year’s selection reflects individuals who are not only shaping trends, but also building systems, creating opportunities, and amplifying Ghanaian fashion on the global stage.
Speaking on the release, Faith Senam Ocloo, Fashion PR Specialist and Consultant at Nueva Comms, shared:
This Power List is about recognising the people whose work continues to shift the narrative of Ghanaian fashion. It goes beyond aesthetics and the runway, it’s about influence, leadership, and the ability to create lasting impact. We are seeing a new era where Ghanaian creatives are not just participating in global conversations, but actively shaping them, and this list reflects that evolution.
