Africa Fashion Week Nigeria is delighted to announce Princess Adesile as the official Cultural Face of AFWN 2025

A proud descendant of the Awujale of Ijebu, Princess Adesile has become one of the most powerful contemporary voices preserving and elevating Yoruba and Ijebu heritage. Her presence at the annual Ojude Oba Festival, where she is known for her regal horseback riding displays, has brought global attention to the event.

Her influence extends beyond Yoruba culture. She has been recognized as one of Africa’s 100 Most Impactful People in Travel and Tourism 2025, mentors young entrepreneurs, partners in business ventures, and uses her platform to champion authenticity, community, and culture.

As Cultural Face of AFWN 2025, Princess Adesile embodies the perfect intersection of tradition, elegance, and contemporary African Fashion.

To carry our culture is to carry the spirit of our ancestors. As the Cultural Face of AFWN2025, I am proud to stand for the beauty, pride, and timeless creativity of Africa, and I look forward to unveiling Desile Lagos, a celebration of heritage reimagined for a new generation.
