Africa Fashion Week Nigeria is delighted to announce Princess Adesile as the official Cultural Face of AFWN 2025. 

A proud descendant of the Awujale of Ijebu, Princess Adesile has become one of the most powerful contemporary voices preserving and elevating Yoruba and Ijebu heritage. Her presence at the annual Ojude Oba Festival, where she is known for her regal horseback riding displays, has brought global attention to the event. 

Her influence extends beyond Yoruba culture. She has been recognized as one of Africa’s 100 Most Impactful People in Travel and Tourism 2025, mentors young entrepreneurs, partners in business ventures, and uses her platform to champion authenticity, community, and culture.

As Cultural Face of AFWN 2025, Princess Adesile embodies the perfect intersection of tradition, elegance, and contemporary African Fashion.

Brand Spotlight: Desile Lagos Debuts at AFWN 2025

AFWN is also thrilled to announce that Desile Lagos, Princess Adesile’s fashion brand, will be making its official runway debut at AFWN 2025.

Desile Lagos is an Afrocentric clothing brand, offering both menswear and womenswear, rooted in Nigerian identity. The brand celebrates heritage and contemporary luxury.

Guests at AFWN 2025 can look forward to an expressive blend of tradition and modern style as Desile Lagos unveils its collection on the Africa Fashion Week Nigeria runway.
