Nigerian artist, Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems has just added “Grammy Award Winner” to her teeming list of accolades.

She won the award at the 65th edition of the Grammy Awards held on sunday in Los Angeles which was hosted by Trevor Noah for her contribution on the smashing hit ‘Wait For U’ by Future featuring Drake and herself. The song won the “Best Melodic Rap Performance” category.

The talented singer has indeed set a new record for Nigerian music as she becomes the first female Nigerian artist to win a Grammy Award.
