The Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards 2017 has come and gone yet reviews of the most intriguing music and style are still wild with excitement with all that happened. The entertainment awards, BET 2017 was held on the 25th of June, 2017 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. The annual ceremony sees to honor and celebrates achievements in the music, movie, sports, television and movies industry throughout the globe.

Although several styled in Western clothing, Jennie Jenkins, Margaret Avery and South African star Nomzamo Mbatha, were gracefully stunned in their African outfits. Margaret Avery, a 73-year-old “The Color Purple’s” star looked dashing in a bright, off-shoulder dress, making a statement with a necklace and ruffle shoes. Nomzamo Mbatha also was gorgeous in a traditional pattern dress with a formfitting silhouette and lastly Jennie Jenkins, a UK Beauty, Fashion & Lifestyle Vlogger, also wrapped herself in an off-shoulder crop top and a high-above skirt, inspired by African designs.
