Created by Ronke Ademiluyi, African Fashion Week in London (AFWL), is one of Europe’s largest trending events on fashion that partners with Africa and African inspired designs which shows the well-to-do fashion industries and also a platform where upcoming African designers get to exhibit to the United Kingdom (UK) and the international scene.

The head of makeup, Abbie May of Addie May LDN got to grace this year’s event with her strong designed looks which gives clear impressions of the African traditional look, this colorful makeup complemented the fabrics used.

Diversity trend on the international runway this year was portrayed by the presence of multi-cultural models on the Yeezy catwalk at the Africa Fashion Week in London (AFWL).

Models wore plenty textiles, decorated in an abstract palette shapes and patterns. From casual garments to formal costumery from African culture was redesigned into European cuts, adding an ingenious look to the catwalk.

Konjac Company applied foundation on models, lip products were by Burt’s Bees and hair stylist, Allan Henry gave outstanding hairstyles that made the AFWL an effortlessly cool, yet glamorous fashion event.
