Muse Media Networks will, on Friday, 27th November, debut its new weekly, half an hour original show, This Week On Muse, on Viasat1 at 4pm.

The show will feature three exciting segments:

The recap segment where urban radio host, Antoine Mensah, will break down headlining urban music, entertainment & lifestyle news within the week, as well as give social media commentary on topical entertainment stories; The #MuseTops, an interactive segment where Antoine will count down the top videos aired on the MUSE shows within the week, and give the audience the opportunity to predict the number 1 song of the week to win amazing prizes; The #MuseRealTalk segment which will see Antoine in conversation with Ghana’s top celebrities, asking the tough questions that others wouldn’t dare.

Speaking about the new show, Sadiq Abdulai Abu, Co-founder/CEO of the Muse Media Networks remarked that “We are super excited to introduce a new show to our viewers. As a relatively new media network that will undoubtedly capture the large audiences interested in quality urban music, entertainment and lifestyle content we have gradually been building momentum and solidifying our position with our daily programming on Viasat1 everyday, Mondays to Fridays at 4pm.

This Week On Muse is the perfect addition to our lineup.

The Muse Media Networks team is looking forward to introducing all the excitement the new show has to offer, as well as growing our fan base considerably.” The Head of Content & Editorial, Nanama B. Acheampong, added.

Commenting on his new gig, Antoine Mensah stated that, “After 5 years in radio, I’ve been looking forward to getting on TV for a while now. What was important for me was finding a media house and hosting a show that would not only magnify my voice and opinions, but one that would reflect my passion and enthusiasm for African entertainment as a whole, as well as my desire to help propel it to the next level. I found that with Muse Africa. I’m looking forward to this new show, the engaging content and the innovative trends in TV broadcasting it comes with.”

The first episode of the new show features “Ghost” rapper, XO Senavoe, and will debut on Viasat1 on Friday 27th November, at 4pm. The show will subsequently air on MUSE programming block on TV1, Tanzania.
