Africa Fashion Week London 2025: Day Two Highlights
Day two of Africa Fashion Week London 2025 dazzled audiences with a vibrant celebration of creativity, culture, and style, bringing together some of the continent’s most exciting designers and talent.
The day opened on a high note with an electrifying performance by Dub Afrique, setting the tone for a day filled with innovation and glamour. The audience was immediately captivated, and the energy carried seamlessly into the runway shows.

The runway featured an impressive lineup of designers, each bringing their unique vision to life:
- Sissy Meme – Bold, avant-garde designs blending contemporary silhouettes with African-inspired patterns.
- Pa Musa – Vibrant fabrics and intricate craftsmanship celebrating African heritage.
- ADIRE OSUN X ADIRE OODUA X TEMADE STUDIOS – Stunning fusion of traditional Adire textiles with modern design aesthetics.
- ADIRE OSUN X ADIRE OODUA X THE AFRICA CENTER – Contemporary collections highlighting the richness of African textile traditions.
- Celebrity Models by Tote London – Renowned personalities added star power and sophistication to the runway.
- House of Estree – Elegant, contemporary creations celebrating the fusion of African heritage and global fashion trends.

The day concluded with a celebratory awards ceremony honoring individuals and organizations making significant contributions to fashion and African cultural heritage:
- H.E. Amb Prof Olufolake Abdulrazaq, 1st Lady of Kwara State – AFWL Legacy Award
- Mrs Joan Okorodudu (represented by Ms Bunmi Ademokoya) – AFWL Special Recognition Award

Day two of Africa Fashion Week 2025 reinforced the event’s reputation as a premier platform for showcasing African talent and creativity. From the captivating performances to the stunning designer showcases and the recognition of influential figures, the day was a vibrant celebration of culture, style, and the future of African fashion.
ABOUT AFRICA FASHION WEEK LONDON
Africa Fashion Week London’s annual catwalk and exhibition event is one of the world’s largest and longest-running showcases of African and African-inspired fashion & design. Now in its 15th year, Africa Fashion Week London (AFWL) has hosted 3000 emerging and established designers and exhibitors to 75,000 visitors, including buyers, retailers, industry professionals and global media. Overall, 26 African countries and 67 countries have been represented, including diaspora designers from Brazil, Europe, Asia, the Caribbean and the Americas. Additionally, AFWL has produced 12 third-party events such as the Southbank Centre’s Africa Utopia and Meltdown Festival, The Mayor of London’s Africa on the Square, and The Africa Centre’s Summer Festival. Such is the importance of AFWL, that the initiative positively impacts, directly and indirectly, over 5000 individuals annually including SMEs, designers, tailors, textile designers, students, visitors, models, stylists, photographers, journalists, caterers, artists, tech and production staff and lovers of fashion. |
