A pioneer for an occasional footwear Keexs, Lemi Ghariokwumade, Nigerian native collaborated with South Africa’s very own designer Afrikanswiss to produce their fresh debut for the just ended SAFW 2017.

The event which happened on the 31st of March, last month at Hyde Park in Johannesburg, South Africa featured more of S/S 2017 Collection from both upcoming and top notch designers in and out of the the country.

Self experienced crafter, Lemi Ghariokwu, with his inspiration and motivation from a Nigerian legend, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, thus “Naija man in Soweto”, was created to help tell a story of how cultures merge with modern pieces like “denim fila to embroidered denim buba” to innovate African designers with no limitation in creating designs.
