Postponement of Africa Fashion Week Amsterdam 2017 to a scheduled date
Following previous press release, the board of directors and creative team would like to apologise once more to its local and international audience following the postponement of AFWA 2017.
The founder of AFWA, Ms D. Tambe and board of directors regret to share that the beautiful annual gathering, holistically aimed at promoting the African fashion industry on an international platform and creating job opportunities to diversify African countries economy, meanwhile celebrating the culture scheduled for this weekend has been carried over to August 2018 to avoid the confusion due to foreseen circumstances in relation to a copyright infringement at strategic level.
All purchased tickets still hold merit for the show scheduled for next summer and else have been remitted where requested.
AFWA would also like to welcome African based designers and vendors to its sister’s event (Tozali – Africa Fashion and Cultural Week) coming up on the 14-16 September 2017 in Abuja, Nigeria hosted by none-other but the iconic movie star, Ramsey Nouah.
Africa Fashion Week Amsterdam (AFWA) welcomes its international and local audience, designers, buyers, retailers, artist, press, models, sponsors and partners again at a more engaging and accomplished gathering next year to showcase talented and creative young Africans as they promote their professionalism in fashion, designing and art exhibitions.
