Quazi Design, a jewelry company in Swaziland which came about in the year 2009, by a local magazine distributor, who wished to create something new with wasted magazine papers, rather than making it go waste and also a project to empower women of Swaziland.

With this vision, Flotsam, a local distributor who worked in the magazine company co-partnered with a British eco-designer Doron Shaltiel, where they also employed other 14(fourteen) women who were artisans to help bring this vision into fruition.

Hand-crafted jewelry and other home objects were all created from recycled magazine papers, made from beads with fabric from the local markets.

Some of their products are available in the global markets, namely; Europe, US and Australia.
