Ozwald Boateng is an English fashion designer of Ghanaian descent, known for his trademark twist on classic British tailoring and bespoke style. He has a reputation as one of the best tailors in the world of fashion with a client list that includes Jude Law, Mick Jagger and Daniel Day Lewis, Idris Elba, and also for films including: Hannibal, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Tomorrow Never Dies, Sex and the City, Ugly Betty, Eastern Promises, Gangster Number One, Alfie, Assault on Precinct 13, The Matrix, Miami Vice, Oceans 13, and Rush Hour.

Oswald Boateng, during the weekend was honoured at the Ghana Legacy Awards 2017 for his impact in the fashion industry, other prominent Ghanaians like Sir Sam Jonah, renowned, head of the anti-corruption unit at the African Development Bank Anna Bossman, world-renowned architect Sir David Adjaye, CEO of Airtel Ghana, Lucy Quist, and tech innovator Herman Chinery-Hesse were also awarded for their hardwork.
